Wedding Photography

What do I need to know when choosing a wedding photographer?
Too often we hear stories of unhappy brides because they made their choice on the wrong criteria. Everyone has a budget, but bear in mind when the goodies are all gone, the photos are what you have left for as reminders for a lifetime. You may need to adjust your budget proportionately. Meet your photographer or at least speak with them on the phone or social media. It’s very important that you like the person you are working with. A good rapport with your photographer will not only insure you actually enjoy spending time with them while shooting on the day but also the difference between stiff uncomfortable looking photographs or relaxed and natural. How you are feeling will show in the images. Engagement or pre-wedding shoots  gives us and the couple a chance to get to know each other and they get used to being in front of the camera. It’s breaks the ice so there is no uncomfortableness on the day.

Deuchar cousins

This is the Deuchar cousins having fun in the park its great to see kids playing outdoors rather than always on their tablets or games consoles. We have known them for a few years now haven taken wedding photography or their own family portraits in the past. Its always great to see our customers coming back to us it gives us a chance to catch up on how they are all getting on. As you can tell from thsi photoshoot it was a great day for them all.

Hayley and James preshoot

We are photographing Hayley and James wedding next year. They wanted a preshoot which is a great idea as this gives our couples and ourselves to get to know one another and have a rapport before the wedding day. The brides especially like this as they can have a look at how their makeup will loook on the day in the shots. We can take the photos at a favourite place or at the venue they are having their ceremony again this will give them and us if it a new venue we havent been to befvore to suss out the places that are best for the photography and get a feel of the location.

Cooper and Klay

This two cheeky we chappies had lots of fun having their portraits taken and at this time of years the colours are just fantastic. Children love being outside on location they feel more at ease in the photographs and the more natural look is so much nicer than the staged ones. Family photography does look great in the outdoors whether it be at a park or by the beach it really brings the best out in people.

Copper

Cant believe this beautiful pooch is 11 years old Copper is a retired gundog Fox Red labrador running around like a one year old. He is so clever and down everything he was told it must be the training he has had over the years and it shows. He is now enjoying an easier life now with his owners out at their farm.

Luna

This is the kind of shots we love with our Pet Photography. Being out and about with dogs is great to capture them at their best running around the coutryside or the beach. They feel more at ease and we can get the best natural look in the photographs. This is Luna a black a stunning Labrador dog she is only 2years old but really still a puppy and full of beans.

Archie

Love taking pet photographs this is Archie a 2year old rescue Greyhound dog who is so gentle and loves his cuddles. Look how regal does he look in the full length photos. His owners were a wee bit wary of letting him off the lead as he just loves to run around chasing anything that moves but he was so well behaved and stood while he had his very first photoshoot. Treats are always a great idea and if your pet is food orientated then it can work wonders to get some great shots.

Great family portraits on  location. Cooper and Klay ever so cute wee boys loved the caps and dungarees made the photo look quite rustic. Mum and dad jumped in a few shots even their dog Frankie had his turn too. We just love this time of year when the leaves are yellow and golden in colour you can have some fun with the kids rolling and throwing the leaves about. We took Cooper’s photo a few years ago just when he was still in his nappy its always good to see customers coming back to us when the wee ones are a little older.
