You are not forced into doing a speech at your wedding so don’t do it you don’t have to but if you want to make a speech, do it. It can be so nerve racking but it can be one of your favourite moments.
Instead of hymns and readings why not have guests and family break up the ceremony with an informal singalong. Some people have musically-minded friends it featured well with favourite romantic songs:
Little hiccups on the day can be a good thing when the microphone at the start of the ceremony didn’t work but can end up breaking the ice and making everyone laugh and a brilliant capture for us wedding photographers.
